Recycling Brown Bags

Town of Cary has added brown paper bags (grocery bags) to the list of materials that can be put into our curbside recycling bin.
The Town's new single stream recycling process allows paper bags to be recycled curbside. Cary residents can also mix glossy magazines, newspapers and inserts in with other recyclables instead of separating this paper material.

Art in the park

More than 150 local artists will be featured at the 14th annual spring daze festival on Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Bond park.
Take the whole family for a free day of art, entertainment and fun. There will be entertainment on four stages, a Children's Village, and of course, favorite festival foods. Earth day activities are also being held in conjunction with Spring Daze, so be sure to check out the hands-on exhibits!
New for all of us to enjoy this year is Bond Park's new boat house. Rent a paddle boar, feed the ducks or sit and rock on the deck overlooking tranquil Bond lake.

Does Ricky Ponting have it in him to be the greatest batsman of this generation ?

Last 5-6 yrs have seen the very profilic Ricky Ponting, the australian captain. He has become a run machine in the last few yrs and he seems to be the only one around who looks like making 45 or more centuries in test matches and 40 odd in one dayers.

With Lara and Tendulkar in the wane of their glorious cricketing careers, Ponting looks even more impossing. I dont think there is anyone at the moment who can catch up with him. The talented tasmanian has benefited from being part of a very strong australian team throughout his career but most importantly has never changed his style of play and thats always a sign of a player who believes in his abilities.
As for the other contemporary great batsmen, i think none will catch up with Ponting.

The following is the list of players and the number of test centuries and one day centuries they might have at the end of their careers.

Ponting - 40-45 in tests and 40 in ODIs
Tendulkar - 37-40 in tests and 45-50 in ODIs
Lara - 35-40 in tests and 19 in ODIS
Inzamam - 25-30 in tests and 11/12 in ODIs
Dravid - 25-30 in tests and 12-15 in ODIS
Kallis - 30-35 in tests and 20-25 in ODIs
Mohammad Yousuf- 30 in tests and 15-20 in ODIs
Hayden - 30-35 in tests and 12-15 in ODIs

Its too early to say about Kevin Petersen though he has all the potential to eclipse a lot of records. I think he could become the best batsmen for the next 5 yrs.
I think he definitely could ...
